MoBagel is excited to announce the completion of a $3M seed funding round from investors around the world, such as 500 Startups, FundersClub, CyberAgent, SingTel Innov8, global banks, TEEC Angel Fund, and Wei Fund.
In 2016, MoBagel was selected as a part of SoftBank’s Innovation Program to bring IoT and big data analytics to smart home and office appliances. Since then, MoBagel successfully worked with several large Japanese clients and seized the majority Japanese market to become Japan’s top IoT analytics platform.
Using its proprietary technology, Decanter™ AI engine, MoBagel used automated machine learning to help IoT businesses discover business value from piles of IoT data. From working with clients such as Philips, Panasonic, and top global manufacturing brands, Decanter™ AI has generated over $50M USD in business value from 21M IoT devices and 3.3B rows of data.
MoBagel will use this funding on recruiting more talent to its existing team of Stanford, UC Berkeley, Waseda University, and National Taiwan University graduates as well as strengthening its market presence in Japan and European markets.
Collaborating with GirlsAward, three fashion magazine models produce the new product “APlay NA2/GA” including coloring of the earphone, package, and carrying pouch. APlay is a IoT wireless earphone to connect with your smartphone through Bluetooth to allow you not only to enjoy communication or listening to music with wireless, but also to have voice assist functions such as reading notifications of SNS or news and replying text message by voice recognition.
